I've updated my blog template in favor of a black text on white background format. RSS subscribers check it out. Personally, I like the white on black format better, but I understand most people don't. You win.
Please leave a comment and let me know what you think. Also, if anyone knows what I can do to get those blue hyperlink boxes off of my RSS icons [UPDATE: Fixed!], or how I can get the post titles left justified with the post itself, I'd be most appreciative.
Update: Looks like I'm not the only one making changes.

Long time, no talk!
I like to think of myself as a lover, not a "hater", but I will say... I really liked the white on black. I know it doesn't pass muster with web site usability gurus. But, it was *you*.
Whatever you do, this reader will keep reading...
While I like black on white better, the overall design on the old site was much more interesting. But, as Kristi said, I'll keep reading no matter what it looks like!
No question -- black on white is much easier to read. Perhaps consider adding some other visuals in the header. But where's the head-banger shot of you. That's what I miss. I just don't get the new photo/graphic.
Obviously, the old template was more polished. But this one works. I'd change the link colors and maybe change that right side border from dashed to dotted (and maybe a lighter grey like #999;}. I think I liked the fixed width better as well, but I have a wide monitor.
I can live without the black design but this current white one is pretty blah.
