Out of touch?

Talkin bout my generation...

After missing two questions on a practice CAE exam having to do with generation X and the workplace, I found myself researching the topic online. It struck me a little strange that I missed both questions, since I am well within the age group's boundaries. And stranger still that I was reading web sites to try to figure out how gen-x'ers approach the workplace. I guess it could have been worse: I could have asked my secretary to inquire about fax-on-demand articles on the subject after she prints my e-mails in the morning. ;-)

Am I out of touch with my generation? Or does this simply demonstrate the folly of stereotyping an entire generation?
