View from an in-line office

I don't have a corner office (what's the big deal about a corner office, anyway?), but on the topic of connecting members, I'm on the same page as someone who does.

See View from a Corner Office: Thanks, Ben

We younger association professionals, who have only known and worked in the modern association world, have a lot to learn from the traditional associations that have, because of the many changes in our culture, gone by the wayside. We can't possibly go back there, but we can bring forward the good things that occurred.

Like our mystery CEO, I am also getting jaded by association emulation of for-profit models. In this era of differentiation, maybe associations should be blazing their own paths, not following those of the corporates.
