David Gammel and I have been holding an off-line discussion about unconferences. Although David has captured his thoughts on unconferencing, and I haven't, together we submitted a proposal to conduct an unsession at ASAE & The Center for Association Leadership's June 2006 Marketing & Membership Conference.

Perhaps the selection committee was unconscious or under the influence, but they accepted our proposal. I'm thrilled to report that the association community will experience its first unsession this summer.

Fair warning: Only 40 people will be admitted to the unsession (if we have our way).
