I see so many blog posts that were obviously composed in Microsoft Word, because they have inherited all the crazy formatting that Word uses. They look dreadful. Well, here's the easiest way to strip all that junk out of your post: Copy the text out of Word and then paste it into the HTML or Code pane of your blog platform. Then switch back to WYSIWYG, Compose, Visual, or whatever pane your blogging platform offers.

You rock. I knew there had to be a simple solution.
alternatively, use the free microsoft live writer application and don't worry about it.

Switching the font to Courier before cutting & pasting works for *some* blog platforms as well.
Thanks for the advice.
Composing them directly in the blog is best but time constraints often drive people to Word.
You could also copy/paste into Notebook and then your blog - this will keep all your paragraph breaks but get rid of all the html code from Word.
I meant Notepad - it's too early to be leaving comments.
