Tip #13: Read the candidate listserve archives

This is tip #13 in a series of 13 to help you pass the CAE exam. Pass along this tip to a friend.

I know you couldn't sleep last night, anticipating this, the moment you've been waiting for. Tip #13. My 13th and final tip is just a wee bit sneaky and sexy.

ASAE maintains a CAE candidate listserve. Every candidate is invited to join it once they have been approved to sit for the CAE exam. You definitely should join if you haven't already.

Here's the sneaky part.

If you log into the web interface for the candidates listserve, you can view archived messages that have been posted to it in the past. You have to be a subscriber to log in, but it is a treasure chest of great tips and ideas on how to prepare for the exam. Highly recommended reading.

So those are my 13 tips. I don't think any of them are earth-shattering, but the combination of all 13 will help you immensely on the exam, probably earning you another 10-20 right answers.

I was surprised by the number of questions on this last exam that referred to "globalization".
