Generally accepted as a best practice

Part of what makes the CAE exam so tricky is that in many cases the correct answers can only be ascertained if one knows what is generally accepted as a best practice in the association community. Generally accepted because, as ASAE admits, there has never been a study on what is truly a best practice in the association industry. What's considered a best practice can vary widely depending on one's experience and perspective. When it comes to passing or failing an exam, that's a problem. One that is about to be solved, I hear.

I understand that ASAE & The Center are about to embark on a study to objectively identify the association community's best practices. That ought to get the association community's resident heretic screaming and raging.
