One of my favorite speakers came to Richmond

VSAE held their monthly lunch meeting today with Jeff De Cagna as the featured speaker.

Despite being sleep-deprived, Jeff was in his typical provocative form, challenging the audience with such heretical premises as strategic planning is dead and developing DUMB goals. It's always inspiring, but also somewhat upsetting to hear from Jeff. He cuts to the core of association strategy, and sometimes it hurts to discover the comfortable, usual way of doing things ain't working.
