The private sector could learn a lot about involving customers in the program development and customer evangelism from membership associations. If you’re a word-of-mouth or customer evangelist marketing type, you really ought to take a hard look at how associations are integrating their customers into multiple levels of operations to engage the market and spread the word about its products and services.
