If you know more than ten people, chances are you know someone who's blogging.
New research from the Pew Internet & the American Life project shows that a significant minority of internet users are blogging or maintaining a personal web page. "User Generated Content" has emerged beyond the "lunatic fringe," but what are associations doing to capitalize on it? If associations are ever to take advantage of the long tail, the people who run them are going to have to figure this out.
