Tweet is a verb

I admit this is totally stupid and not a very productive use of my time, but I couldn't bear to just sit idly by as twitter replaces tweet as the verb of choice to describe the act of posting to Twitter. So I took matters into my own hands.

Ben -

I am concerned about you. Do we need to do a Twitter Intervention?

WOW

That is something an English Major would do. . .I like it.

Language is important, and words mean things. Most people just don't care.

Ah, but language is a living thing. I started to say "twitter" the first time I commented on a post about it, and now I would find it really weird to say "tweet".

I'm with you. "Tweet" is old school, and I like old school.

Kevin, thanks for expressing your support for tweet.
